Devotional 9/9/20

09.09.20 | Love | by Rev. Norman Thomas Jr.

Anytime you consistently justify someone's foolish behavior, there's not only something wrong with them, but you have a problem as well. Everyone makes mistakes and should be forgiven, but when you clearly see that someone has a problem and you refuse to call it what it is, you are hurting them by accepting their irrational behavior. Eventually, because you were too afraid to check their behavior, they end up turning on you and causing you harm as well. Parents, leaders, politicians, pastors, democrats and republicans, you're making a fool out of yourselves trying to justify someone's behavior that everyone else in their right mind can see has a serious problem. If you're not careful, your unwillingness to confront the issue will end up causing you, your family and others great danger. God bless!
