Devotional 9/1/20
Part of the reason that they hate you so much is because you no longer depend on them for your existence. They're upset that you're thriving without them. In their mind, they always believed that in order for you to be successful, you would have to rely on them. Now, their pride is hurt and it has turned into anger, so they are coming at you any way they can. They don't want to see you smile, live your life, buy new things and be independent because it is a reminder that is was not them who kept you, but it was God the whole time. Don't let them steal your joy. Keep smiling and living your life and know that God will shut them down in His own timing. God bless!
