Devotional 7/28/20
Warning, this may be offensive. If you despise compromising, hate having to answer questions about where you've been and what you've been doing, can't stand the idea of meeting someone else's needs before you meet yours, or you like to go wherever the wind blows, marriage may not be for you. Everybody is not called to be married. The idea of being with someone forever sounds great and may meet an immediate need, but if you are unwilling to surrender your will to God and meet His idea of marriage, you won't make it. It's more than smiles, kisses, sex, and walks in the park. Sorry, but you have to put that work in and reevaluate yourself every day. It's far more than what you read in a fairy tale. God bless!
