Devotional 4/16/20
Sometimes you can be so angry and disappointed with people that you end up rebelling against God. You reject all authority, feel that people must play by your rules, and misinterpret the good intentions of others. When that happens, you may reach a level of personal success, but you end up denying yourself of healthy relationships that God intended for you to have. It does you no good to brag about how free and independent you are in front of others, yet cry yourself to sleep at night because you're so alone. Submission is not a bad thing, especially if you have submitted yourself to God. Find your freedom in Him, not yourself. God bless!
