If your friends have to worry about whether you're going to snap, stop talking to them, or completely cut them off when they tell you the truth, you are not a good friend. In fact, you really don't want friends, you only want people around you who will agree with your perspective. This is dangerous! Instead of being humble enough to grow, you end up in fake relationships with people who are afraid of you and are only there to stroke your ego. You have to give at least one person in your life permission to tell you like it is without you arguing back with them. If you want to grow as a Christian, let somebody check you. If you want to be an egotistical spoiled brat, keep getting upset when you're told the truth. True growth requires confrontation, but you have to be brave enough to handle it. God bless!
