Devotional 10/11/20
Some things are not necessarily sinful, but they're just not wise to do in public. If you are in a leadership position as a Christian, there are certain things that you have to be very careful about doing publicly or on social media. It is not a sin to drink alcohol or go to a club, however, be very mindful that there are some people who are watching you who are not mature enough to handle what you're doing. Out of love and for the sake of the One whose name you bear as a Christian, you need to think twice before you do certain things. Before you get mad about this post and say you can do whatever you want to do, here's a scripture that may calm your nerves. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV), "Abstain from all appearance of evil." If you know that what you're doing is going to cause people to question your walk with God, pray about it. God bless!
