This may be a bit old-fashioned, but whenever you walk into your house or someone else's house, get off of your cell phone. Let the person who you're talking to know that you have gotten home and you will talk to them later. Once you walk into a residence, your husband, wife, children or guests deserve your undivided attention. It is disrespectful to walk into yours or anyone else's house, halfway acknowledge the people who are there, and continue your conversation on your cell phone. Out of respect for those in the household, get off of your phone and talk to your family or guests in the house. There may not be a scripture to support it, but it is always a good practice to be respectful and considerate. God bless!
